With Multipoint technology you can switch between your voice-enabled Bluetooth mobile phone, PDA or laptop. The headset’s “smart” technology knows which device you are using and allows you to take calls from any device at the touch of a button. With the optional Plantronics Bluetooth Deskphone Adapter you can even switch between your office phone and your Bluetooth mobile phone. You’ll never need to use a dedicated “landline” phone headset again.
The 510 features a noise-canceling microphone for clearer conversations, and it folds for easy storage. The boom also swivels for perfect positioning on either ear. One-touch call control buttons are placed for easy access, and you can easily redial the last number dialed and initiate voice-activated calls from the headset. Because the 510 is Bluetooth-enabled (it supports the Bluetooth 1.2 specification) you can roam up to 33 feet from your Bluetooth device. Meanwhile, the 510 supports adaptive frequency hopping (AFH) which helps avoid interference from wi-fi networks. Ample talk time is provided by the built-in rechargeable battery; you’ll get up to 6 hours talk time and up to 100 hours of standby time.

Great headset
An incredibly reliable headset for your cell phone. I purchased mine over a year ago and it has served me well. The Plantronics 510 is a good-looking headset with superb audio quality. The recharger is a bit cheap but the headset is a well-rounded headset that is comfortable and features easy volume control and reliability.
Plantronics Bluetooth
I would just like to say that this product is very impressive. It works very good in most situations. The background noise is a bit too much when I am driving at work but it is good enough. The ear buds make your ears sore if you wear the device for too many hours at a time but if you take it out sometimes it is manageable. I would also like to say that I accidently put it through a load of laundry and it still works perfectly. I would recomend to anyone for an entry level bluetooth. The voice command dialing is a big plus for me.
Wonderful reception/ no noise distortion
I sent this to my daughter in CA. Before, with her ear device hooked to a cord, I couldn’t understand what she said on her 45 minute work drive…now with her wearing this blue tooth Plantronics Voyager 510 headset device, I hear her every word. The sound is as crisp as it should be. Google rated this the best bluetooth for the money. I definetly see why Google rated this so well.
